CB & Sons Equipment Company LLC was started in 2002 in response to a growing number of landscape companies employing mulch blower equipment to aid in spreading enormous amounts of mulch throughout New England. At the time there were no mulch blowers available for rent or lease anywhere in New England. The only choice the landscaper had was to buy a unit, hire someone with a unit to complete the work or complete the work by hand. To be competitive it was becoming more and more difficult to complete the work using traditional methods. For some, to buy a unit was difficult to justify the price tag. To hire another contractor would've meant allowing another contractor on your jobsite to potentially have an affair with your customer.

This is when Chris Bacon saw the need for a rental program in New England. He started out with one unit and has grown the company large enough to employ ten units to date. The company has rented to many that continue to rent each year and has rented to many others that have realized their companies potential to grow with a blower unit and have graduated into owners. CB & Sons has rented to many colleges and universities to include MIT, Boston College, Stonehill College, St. Anselms College, Bunker Hill College, and Harvard University. In addition they have rented to numerous municipalities, golf courses and currently rent to over one hundred landscape maintenance contractors and property management companies throughout the six New England states.

After more than ten years renting Finn Bark Blowers our goal remains the same as it did when we started; To offer the industries best equipment coupled with Finn factory trained service, support and full customer training at a competitive price.
