Commercial Applications

In most cases the mulch is dropped on site and the blower is kept loaded with a skid steer therefore eliminating any down time traveling for material. In other cases the material is forked from the rear of a truck and into the adjustable load tray on the blower. In most commercial applications, dependent on operators, mulch density and how crowded the mulch bed is a three man crew can apply 60-80 cubic yards in an 8-10 hour day. However, it is important to remember that because of the way the mulch is laid down we are spreading 20-30% less than we were by hand so really we are completing 80-100 cubic yards worth of work in a day with three people!!
